A Little About the Monster…

I was born In Trinidad and Tobago to very loving and supporting parents. When I was ten, we all moved to the States. We moved around New York a bit, but finally settled in Long Island. To this day I can pin point the exact moment that got me addicted to drawing. My grandfather sketched an image of Superman as a small gift for me when I was about four years old and, as insignificant as that moment may seem to others, it was the moment my love of illustration was born. Yes, Superman started it all, but drawing comic book characters isn’t all I do. I am a graduate of The School of Visual Arts with a degree in Illustration. I love illustration with a passion, but also love to dabble in a little bit of everything. I love the idea of being able to tell a story with a single image, or painting, or sculpture, and excited to see where my passion may take me.
